Barbara Strachan, founder of Video Links Productions (formerly Family Video Links), lives in Victoria, BC.   She is a former elementary school principal, with extensive experience in the school library field as well as public libraries.

She is a member of the  Home Office Support Team, the  Victoria Independent Film Professionals Association, a former member of the Victoria Women’s Transition House board, on the executive of the Retired Teachers of Ontario District 47 Vancouver Island, and on the executive of the Canadian Club of Victoria.

Barbara has a daughter who is a teacher, three grandchildren and a son-in-law in Ontario.

Children’s literacy is a particular concern of Barbara’s. Each year, Video Links Productions donates to the children’s literacy organizations Raise a Reader (local) and CODE (international).

Tony Davis, video editor, provides the technical support required to produce the Video Links Productions’ DVDs that are praised and valued by appreciative clients.  Tony is on the Executive Commitee of the Vancouver Island Strata Owners Association.
